Welcome to the ESI of Orcières Merlette 1850,
Our ESI started in 2006. Member of the International Labor union of the Ski instructors (SIMS), we had signed the quality charter of the international ski schools.
Craftsmen of the ski we wish to offer you the best quality of teaching with collective group limited (6 for the beginners from 4 to 6 y.o, 8 for the other courses). It allows us an individualized teaching, to ensure the best security and to improve the user-friendliness of the course.
In our team, instructors are State-certified (BEES / DE), the school is approved by the Sporting Ministry to assure the formation of future instructors and some of them got also a diploma Mountain guide, Guide in mountain.... They all are, for you, listening to you, sharing with you the passion of ski.
We offer you courses of Alpine and nordic skiing, courses of snowboard and other disciplines, any levels, for children from 4 y.o and adults, in Collective Lesson or Pivate ones. These classic formulae have already proved their efficiency, we just add the ESI touch: user-friendliness, sharing, pleasure. To award each for the work achieved during the week ; the usual "medal ceremony" * ! Another occasion to share a good moment with your instructor.
The school uses the priority queue of the ski lifts, the price of the courses do not include the skipass which is MANDATORY to ski and for all our lessons.
* The instructor award you a medal at the acquired level and a progress notebook, for free. => If you have already received this blue notebook, slide it in your suitcase and hand it to your instructor, it is so great to see the progress!
